Frequently Asked Questions:

FAQs - I'm sure you have some. I'll answer them now…

Q. What do you write?

A. I get this one all the time. I do all kinds of writing. Ads, articles, ghostwriting, newsletters and more. While a good majority of my work has been within the Dining and Hospitality realms, I've also done projects for churches, colleges, physicians and more.

Q. We know you're a writer. Do you do editing?

A. Indeed I do. It's always good to have a second set of eyes look over your copy. I have edited client newsletters as well as small press journals and business-to-business letters.

Q. Are you dependable and easy to work with?

A. Yes on both counts. Go to my Testimonials page and read the comments of those I've worked for. If you need references, I can forward them to you.

I'll deliver what you want and I'm very agreeable to your needs. However, if I feel can improve the content of the piece I'm working on for you, I will make suggestions. It's part of who I am and what I do. You decide from there which route to take.

Q. Where are your clients located? How far will you travel for a project?

A. A good majority of my work is centered in Northern New Jersey, but my clients are located near and far. Utilizing email and phone, it's easy to keep in contact with folks from all over. If you're thinking about hiring me but you're a distance away, let me assure you - you will get the same dependable, professional treatment and results from me as if you are five to thirty minutes away.

Q. Tell us about your Dining and Hospitality work?

A. I have written restaurant profiles and reviews as well as many ads. In addition, my travels have resulted in write-ups of many Bed & Breakfasts.

Are you having problems getting diners into your establishment? I'll write the ad that will draw them in. Do you need to boost your bookings, especially during the off-season, at your B&B? I can get that done.

Q. Okay. What's the process?

A. It's very simple. Either I visit you and receive your material, or we connect by email or phone and you send it to me. I'll review it for 24 hours and respond with what the job will need to be accomplished and the total cost. This initial consultation is free and you are under no obligation to purchase my services.

Should you choose to use my services, no additional fees will be added without notifying you and the fee being agreed upon. Should you wish to terminate services during the course of the project, I am entitled to hourly fees accumulated up to that point. At the successful completion of a project, an invoice will be forwarded and all fees must be paid within 30 days.

For complete info, see my Policies page.

Q. As the writer of a project, what's your primary concern?

A. Doing the job right. I'm in this business because I love it. I love helping people with my writing; I love helping people with their writing.

There you have it - some basic questions answered. If you'd like more info, call me at (973) 893-9011 or email me at SGS@SGSWrite.com.
